2013

The Sant Eshwer Foundation was conceived by a distinguished family hailing from Lahore (present-day Pakistan). Amidst the pangs of partition, the family migrated to India and continued to assist in community service. Since then, their diligence has been persistently admired and appreciated by the members of the civil society and the Indian government as well.

2016

The Sant Eshwar award was inaugurated, promoted and sustained by grants from the Sant Eshwer Award Foundation. The first ever prestigious Sant Eshwer Awards were accorded on November 14 at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Civic Centre, New Delhi to fifteen diligent organisations and individuals working across India. This marked the inaugural of a mammoth and prodigious legacy.

2018

The Sant Eshwer Awardees have been nominated and recognised with numerous acclaimed awards including but not limited to the esteemed Padma Award. Our conferee, Shri Girish Prabhune Ji was honored with the Padma Shri for his extraordinary commitment and work towards the upliftment of the Pardhi community since the early 1970s. Since then, the Foundation has celebrated five Padma Awards & one Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar. Collectively, these have manifested the Sant Eshwer Award Foundation’s pledge to reinforce the impactful dynamics of social work across India.

2022

The year 2022 embodies a major milestone for the Sant Eshwer Award Foundation. It marks the sixth anniversary of granting the annual Sant Eshwer Award to individuals and organisations personifying the spirit of selfless service and contribution to the people of India. The year also marks the successful felicitation of 100 commendable Sant Eshwer

The award is given to individuals and organizations in each of four areas : Rural Area; Tribal Area; Women and Child Development; and Special Contribution.

Our Mission

The Sant Eshwer Award Foundation searches for individuals and organisations involved in delivering exceptional work in the realm of societal service. We support the contribution of the Awardees by providing them global assets, financial subsistence and promising encouragement. These further facilitate their venture of assisting the underprivileged masses. Through our platform, we also seek to connect the awardees to international institutions and resource persons working for similar philanthropical interests.
